Customer email, from your own address
Ormi sends estimates, invoices and follow-ups from your own verified domain, and the reply comes back into the job it belongs to instead of into somebody's personal inbox. There is no Gmail account to connect and no mailbox for Ormi to read: it works the same whether your crew lives in Gmail, Outlook or Apple Mail.

How to connect Customer email to Ormi
Add your sending domain
Settings, then Integrations, then Customer email. Enter the domain you send from, for example yourshop.com.
Publish the DNS records Ormi shows you
DKIM and SPF, in your DNS host. Ormi asks the mail provider whether they are live and repeats what it is told, including the reason when a record is close but wrong.
Send one estimate
Once the domain verifies, outbound mail leaves as your own address. Reply to it from another account and watch the reply appear on the customer record.

Customer email integration questions
I searched for Gmail. Is this it?
This is the part that matters, and it works with Gmail without being a Gmail integration. Ormi sends from your domain and captures the reply itself, so you keep reading mail wherever you read it now. What this is not: Ormi does not sign in to your Google account, does not send through your Gmail mailbox, and does not put a copy in your Gmail Sent folder.
Will sent mail show up in my Gmail Sent folder?
No. Sending through your own Gmail mailbox needs Google sign-in and a restricted-scope review, and it is separate work that is not built. Everything Ormi sends is kept in Ormi, on the customer and the job.
Does it sync my Google contacts?
No. Customers in Ormi are entered in Ormi or imported, and no contact list is read from Google or anywhere else.
What if I do not have my own domain?
Mail still goes out, from an Ormi address with your address as Reply-To. You get the thread on the customer record either way. The domain only changes whose name is in the From line.
Does it work with Outlook or Microsoft 365?
Yes, two ways. By default Ormi never touches your mailbox at all, so whichever provider your crew reads mail in is simply not Ormi’s concern. If you would rather the mail actually left your Outlook mailbox and sat in its Sent folder, connect it on the Microsoft page; that is optional and changes nothing else.
