Twilio is Ormi's SMS backbone. Two-way messaging with customers, automated reminders, ETA notifications, and review requests all flow through Twilio. You can bring your own Twilio number or use Ormi-provisioned numbers.

How to connect Twilio to Ormi
Pick your number source
Settings → Integrations → Twilio. Choose: (A) Use an Ormi-provisioned local number [default, no setup] or (B) Bring your existing Twilio number.
A2P 10DLC registration
If using Ormi-provisioned numbers, A2P 10DLC registration is handled for you (takes ~5 business days to approve). If bringing your own number, confirm it's already registered.
Configure automated message templates
Edit the default templates (reminder, ETA, review request) to match your brand voice. Variables like {customer_name} and {eta_window} auto-populate.

Twilio integration questions
Does SMS cost extra on top of Ormi's $1/job?
SMS message fees are pass-through from Twilio (roughly $0.008 per text). Ormi doesn't mark them up. Typical shop SMS costs run $20-60/mo.
Can I port my existing business phone number?
Yes, for numbers already on Twilio. For numbers on other carriers, port to Twilio first (Twilio handles this), then connect to Ormi.
What's A2P 10DLC and why does it matter?
It's the US carrier registration required for business SMS. Without it, your messages get filtered. Ormi handles it automatically for provisioned numbers.
